Graduate Center

The Graduate Center is looking to fill the position of Student Office Assistant for Fall 2020.  The office assistant will support the Director and staff with office tasks, as well as logistics, program evaluation, and event management for Graduate Center and University Fellows Program activities.  This is a non-benefits eligible position.  Students are welcome to submit their application through Handshake.

 

Arizona Handbooks, LLC (Internship)

Arizona Handbooks, LLC seeks 2-3 paid, part-time summer researchers working remotely, on flexible schedules, to assist with updating its 2020-2021 Government Honors & Internship Handbook.  This resource is subscribed to by over 90% of ABA law schools in the U.S. 

The work involves contacting 400+ government agencies by phone and email regarding 2021 Summer and school-year internships and post-graduate positions for law graduates.  The researchers will be independent contractors, working 20-40 hours/week between mid-May and mid-July, for a total of 200-400 research hours, at a rate of $11 per hour.

The ideal candidate will work independently and multi-task, have excellent web search and telephone skills in contacting government employers to update their job postings, and will pay close attention to detail in preparing entries for proofing and editing.

City of Tucson: Office of Mayor Regina Romero (Internship)

The Office of Mayor Romero is seeking interns for Summer and Fall 2020, as well as Spring and Summer 2021.
 
The internship is designed for students to learn more about the public policy process, and the history of the City of Tucson.  This is a hybrid internship designed with in-office and off-premise components.  Interns will have the flexibility of coordinating their own schedule to accommodate school.  Interns will be assisting staff with constituent requests, community inquiries and other tasks as assigned.

Commissioner Lea Márquez Peterson is offering an unpaid internship to one or more qualified graduate students located in Phoenix or Tucson. This internship is available immediately.
