Economic Development Specialist Intern (Part-Time Paid Temp)

The Town of Sahuarita is looking to hire an Economic Development Specialist Intern (part-time paid temp). Under the general supervision of the Director, the position supports the planning and implementation of programs that further the Town’s economic development and place making strategies and goals. The position is responsible for analyzing trends and economic markets, supports sales presentations and prospect tours, and building resources that support small business development.  If the individual selected for this position performs well, there will be an opportunity to transition to full-time.

Education and Learning Intern - International Rescue Committee

Resettlement is at the heart of the IRC’s work with refugees. Services provided meet refugees’ basic needs for food, shelter and legal rights in the early, critical stages of the long-term resettlement process. All activities lay the foundation for clients to become self-sufficient and contribute positively to their new community. The Education and Learning Interns will assist the Education and Learning Case Manager in supporting refugee and asylee adults and children, meet their short-term and long-term education goals.

Graduate Student Instructional Assistant - UA CATalyst Studios

CATalyst Studios Student Instructional Assistant Worker will support instructional efforts within the CATalyst Studios at the University of Arizona Libraries. This dynamic and experiential learning space focuses on tinkering, prototyping, visualizing, experimenting, and fostering inclusive and community-driven experiences through specialized technology and expert assistance. Graduate Writing Tutor - Writing Center

The THINK TANK Writing Center supports the development of student writers throughout their whole career at the UA. Our peer tutors meet with undergraduate and graduate students to offer helpful feedback on any kind of writing at any stage in the process. Tutors conduct sessions and workshops both in person and online. This is a student-friendly, on-campus position with no prior tutoring experience required. This is a non-GA position with an hourly rate of $14.75/hr at 10hrs/wk.

Community Development Director - Children's Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Development Director is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders to support the mission of the Children's Advocacy Center (“The CAC”). Working closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, the Community Development Director raises operational funds and secures in-kind donations through donor cultivation, special events, social media engagement, and major gift requests. This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities, but sits on the Management Team and participates in the CAC’s efforts toward diversity, equity, and inclusion for clients and our staff.
